SIXTY FEET FILM SCREENING


Saturday, February 11th at 7:30pm. Park in our lots or on the street that evening please.

Several members of our sister church, Village Church Vinings, have begun an organization called Sixty Feet that engages the children of Uganda and seeks to bring restoration to the lives of those in Christ's name. Trinity is hosting a film screening as a way of getting acquainted with this important mission organization. You will be able to explore how you can be a part of this outreach.

New to this community? If you want to get connected this is a great way to begin. Come hear a short talk on Trinity’s backstory, our purpose, mission & values. You’ll get the opportunity to meet other newcomers as well as church staff. Until then, grab a newcomer’s document available at the info table in the atrium. TRINITY WOMEN'S BRUNCH


Saturday, Feb 18th at 10:30am. Sign up in the atrium. Bring a few dollars to cover a catered delicious brunch meal. Open to college age women to the older among us.

Come together & discover what God may have for Trinity women in 2012. We’ll explore upcoming ministry opportunities & get acquainted with one another as women who follow Christ. ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICES


February 22nd at 12:15pm, 6:30pm & 8:30pm. Please park in our lots or on the street. Children welcome though no childcare provided.

We will come together on this day to focus our hearts on the season at hand, Lent, remembering our own mortality. We will do this through prayer, hearing the scriptures read aloud & being marked with palm ash.

 

 

MEN'S BREAKFAST


Saturday, January 25th at 9:00am. Park in our lots or the street. Bring a couple bucks for a light breakfast. Sign up in the atrium.
Every man has his story. On these mornings we come together to hear each other’s spiritual journey & catch up on life while enjoying a simple breakfast. We will also hear a few testimonies from those within our community. This is a great way to get connected with your fellow man. See you there.

 

 

TRINITY CLASSES FOR LENT


All classes can be joined by signing up in the atrium. With the exception of the Catechism Class, you must pay in order to sign up.

 

SURPRISED BY HOPE CLASS
$15 (Due at sign up) Monday Nights Feb 27-April 2, 7:30-9pm. Sign up in the atrium

During Lent we're going to explore N.T. Wright's Surprised By Hope in conversation with one another & with the good Rev. Dr. Wright himself! Through Wright's DVD curriculum & our own guided conversation, we hope to use this book as an engaging & accessible point for reflection on the topic of resurrection. CATECHISM CLASS
Catechism begins Sunday February 26th at 5:30pm & runs for 6 Sundays leading to Easter Baptism. Sign up in the atrium to join or for more information. FREE
The sacrament of Baptism has long been paired with some form of Catechism where by we gather & explore the rudimentary elements of Christian faith. We will be offering this Catechism class on Monday evenings running throughout the Lent season. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY | JAMES CLASS
$20 (Due at sign up) Monday Nights Feb 27-April 16th, 7:30-9pm. Sign up in the atrium

James, Jesus’ own brother started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Through video teachings, Beth Moore will lead the study through James & then we will explore the Word in conversation with one another. For more info on the class, email Candace Smartt.

 

 

TRINITY SPRING RETREAT | REGISTER NOW ONLINE!


Friday, April 20th-Sunday, April 22nd at Sharp Top Cove outside of Jasper, GA. (About an hour north of Trinity) Register by downloading the form attached here & following the instructions or go to our retreat page. Deadline for registering is March 1st. Limited to 300 people so hurry; we are at 2/3 capacity!

 

For the first time in our church's history we are going on a retreat together. This retreat is intended to give us space to connect with both God & one another in a magnificent mountain setting. Kris McDaniel will share some teachings pertinent to the Easter season, Marty Reardon & others will lead us in worship, while small groups & meal times will allow us to get to know one another through conversations. You do not want to miss this unique opportunity to share in the life of the church. This is open to everyone in our community; younger, older, children, youth, single, married, - everyone!

 

 

TRINITY KIDS FIRST COMMUNION


Beginning Sunday, Feb. 5th, the 4th & 5th grade students will be participating in a month of lessons that will focus on the history, symbolism, significance, & mystery of Communion. On March 4th, they will partake in Communion. For some, this will be the first time that they share in the Lord's Supper with their church family. Please pray for them during this season of learning and growth.

 

 

 

WORSHIP & PRAYER NIGHT


Wednesday, March 7th at 7:30pm. Park in our lots or on the street that eve please.
Being a church that values contemplation requires us to make room for the Holy Spirit to intercede in our praises & petitions. Come worship as we focus on contemplative song, prayer & meditation regardless of where we are in life.

 

 

BABY DEDICATIONS


Sunday, March 11th in all services. Sign up in the atrium. Please note: there is limited space per service.
As a church community we want to bless the new lives that have come into our midst. On these Sundays, parents bring their infants to the altar to be prayed over by the whole congregation. If you wish to have your child dedicated that day, sign up in the atrium.
